Embracing All the Possibilities

Each day YCS cares for approximately 1,500 children, by providing either residential care or in-community and in-home services. Some of the children are separated from their loved ones and have been affected by trauma, others are unable to live at home because of intellectual and developmental disabilities that adversely affect their behavior. Whatever the child's special education, mental health or behavioral health needs, the caring YCS staff is prepared to offer individualized services to both the child and family. With your support, we can help our children find hope, and cultivate strength and resilience for a brighter future.

Are you looking for help for your child?

Contact us at info@ycs.org and we will promptly refer you to the program that addresses the specific needs of your child.

Our Mission

To partner with at-risk and special needs children, youth and young adults to build happier, healthier, more hopeful lives within families and communities.

YCS Parents as Teachers Program

Parents As Teachers (PAT) is an in-home visitation program for pregnant women and new moms in Hudson County. PAT provides education around healthy child development, building parent-child interaction, and connecting families to community resources. No income requirements for the program, and it is completely free and voluntary. Our Parent Educators speak English, Spanish, American Sign Language, and Tagalog. We have a Parent Educator who specializes in children 2-5 years old, and one that specializes in teen parents.

YCS Alliance of Services

A partnership of Our House, Inc. and YCS is working together to provide a continuum of services and housing for young adults with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors.
